Autodesk MoldFlow Adviser
Autodesk MoldFlow Adviser software, part of the Autodesk solution for Digital Prototyping, provides easy-to-use tools that help you to simulate and optimize your part, mold, and tool designs long before manufacturing begins. By simulating the injection molding process using a digital prototype, you can reduce the number of physical prototypes required to perfect a design and get your products to market faster. Autodesk MoldFlow Adviser simplifies plastic injection molding simulation and helps to optimize mold features such as gates, runners, and cavity layouts. It guides designers through analysis setup and results interpretation, enabling them to see how changes to wall thickness, gate locations, material, and geometry affect manufacturability. By resolving and clearly communicating potential problems with injection molding process simulation, Autodesk MoldFlow Adviser enables any engineer to confidently design injection-molded plastic parts.

Plastics Engineering Simulation
Autodesk MoldFlow Insight allows you to simulate the filling and packing phases of the injection molding process to predict the flow behavior of plastic melts and help achieve high quality manufacturing. Engineers can optimize gate locations, balance runner systems, evaluate processing conditions and predict and correct molded part defects. Mold makers can analyze the effects of non-uniform mold temperatures, determine optimized valve-gate timing sequences, and compare flow through hot versus cold runner systems. Optional modules extend simulation capabilities beyond traditional thermoplastics injection molding to more leading edge molding processes including gas-assist, co-injection and injection compression.
Optimize Early
MoldFlow Insight allows you to experiment with “what if” scenarios using different materials, part geometries, mold designs, and processing conditions before committing to a final design. This ability to evaluate different scenarios throughout the entire product development process results in higher-quality products. Autodesk MoldFlow Insight helps manufacturers “get it right the first time”, so they can avoid the cost and time delays that frequently occur during the manufacturing phase.
Autodesk MoldFlow Communicator
Autodesk MoldFlow Communicator is a CAE results viewer developed specifically for visualizing, quantifying and comparing Autodesk MoldFlow Result files (*.mfr).
